Beaches
Non-resident beach stickers cost $40 per week, $55 for two weeks or $75 for the season. Beach stickers can be purchased at 100 Oak St. daily between 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Daily parking is also available at Red River Beach, Earl Road Beach and Fernandes Bog Beach for $10.

Behind the Gardens of the Sea at 206 Rte. 28
A boardwalk stretches across these 11 acres of salt marsh along the Herring River, providing great views of berries, plants and wildlife. The DelFuvio family donated this memorable property to the Harwich Conservation Trust in 1994.
 
Bank Street Bogs
Bank Street
Visitors can walk along this 60-acre cranberry bog owned by the Harwich Conservation Trust and believed to be the oldest working commercial bog on Cape Cod.
 
Coy's Brook Woodlands

The Harwich Conservation Trust has protected 30 acres of white cedar trees and former cranberry bogs along Coy's Brook in West Harwich.
 
Hawks Nest State Park

This state property features 218 acres of woods, a portion of which is used for hunting.
 
Island Pond
Rte. 124, Island Pond Road
A scenic trail runs along the Cape Cod Rail Trail on this 34-acre town-owned property.
 
Harwich Biking
Cape Cod Rail Trail

The Cape Cod Rail Trail winds 22 miles along the water through Dennis, Harwich, Brewster, Orleans, Eastham and Wellfleet. Bikers and walkers are welcomed along with limited horseback riding on an unpaved section. Harwich parking is available at Headwaters Drive. Harwich cyclists also want to note a four-mile Chatham trail extension that runs along Rte. 28. Restroom and water stops are located at Nickerson State Park in Brewster and the Salt Pond Visitor Center at the Cape Cod National Seashore in Eastham.
