| Alone on the distant tip of Cape Cod, Provincetown is an
inspired place like no other. Its scenic dunes, waters rich with marine life and isolated
beaches are kept watch by the Pilgrim Monument, which celebrates the Pilgrims
making Provincetown their first stop in the New World in 1620. In the years since, Provincetown has cultivated a legacy of
artists working in sand huts and actors performing on docks while becoming a
stronghold of the gay and Portuguese fishing communities. |
