Truro has one of the smallest populations in Massachusetts,
but is large on beauty, with miles of rolling beaches and the oldest Cape Cod
lighthouse guarding its shore.
The Pilgrims explored Truro when the Mayflower
docked in neighboring Provincetown in Nov. 1620, finding corn and their first
drink of fresh water in the New World here. Today’s visitors find a vacation
paradise of golden dunes and high clay-specked cliffs, sure to inspire their
return.
