Plymouth

The Pilgrims launched a nation when they docked the Mayflower here in 1620 and Plymouth beautifully preserves their story through the Plymouth Rock, and blocks of ornate buildings, statues and museums.

Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower II await visitors at Plymouth Harbor while costumed actors are ready to re-enact the Pilgrims’ daily life and chores at Plimoth Plantation and correct fact from fiction about the first Thanksgiving and the nation’s beginnings.

Claiming more land than any other Massachusetts community, Plymouth also offers a wide range of activities beyond its history, such as waterfront parks and beaches, wineries, art galleries and golf courses.
